this excellent album, track by track, all very well produced songs with the wonderful voice of jazmine. congratulations is a masterpiece of R & B.

When this record came out I was just like WOW! This is music, this is realy R&B. I fell in love! This record has incredibly powerful ballads, like my favorite song "Lions, Tigers & Bears", "In Love With Another Man" and incredibly banging songs like "Bust Your Windows" and "Need You Bad". The Mid-Tempos are also a highlight: "After The Hurricane", "My Foolish Heart" etc. This record is the best of 2008 - you can listen to every song without feeling the need to skip a song. Her voice is just unique - deep like water. Ghoosebumps are promised!

I would love to see her perform live! I have recently inducted her into my favorite singers category. I normally don't like alot of these new R&B cats, but I love Jazmine Sullivan. Her voice is remarkable and I can relate to all of her songs as if I wrote them myself! Can't wait for her next CD!!!!

I really really like Jazmine, and I like her songs, but I like Beyonce's version better ( http://www.mp3hunting.com ). With Jazmine's I can't even tell what she's feeling. Anger? Sadness? I definitely didn't feel resentment. I think people just decide that since her voice is deeper and more soulful that it has more emotion? I don't know. Her version was cool, and she can definitely sing, but Beyonce takes the prize. And Mrs. Beckham? Not even in the ranks, even if this is her song. My opinion of course.

The whole album is fierce !!! As an older female, it seems as if Jasmine has an old soul and understands the feelings that she sings about. I love the range that she has and the emotions that she evokes through her music. Keep on "sanging" girl !!!!!!

The album wasn't new, and like others here, I could've gotten it for free.

But in a world where children are no longer safe with their own parents, earthquakes are everywhere, and no one sings about anyting other than degrading sex and hate - I needed something more...my very SOUL yearned for something warm and smooth, full of rythm and love, comforting like my grandmothers arms when she knows I'm down - and that's why I bought the album.

A song here or there on the radio wasn't enough. I spent an entire work day "YouTubing" her, just to keep the blessed vibes near me. Yea, I'm 29, but I recognized her smile, and her intelligence, and her joy...it was me back in the day (at least in the mirror with my brush), when good music existed and you had to know how to "sang" to get a record deal. When you could shut fake singers down with the power to run notes they couldn't even hear, in sequences that machines couldn't even comprehend.

God held Jazmine's head in His hands, kissed her on both her ears. Then placed His palm on her heart and blew His breath into her lungs. Finally, He sang her a song that only SHE can mimic. Through angels, He delivered her onto us in earth as Proof that He is Master of Creation.

Her gift is proof.

Look at the way she smiles when she sings. Tilts her head up to Him a little - sometimes closing her eyes. It feels good to her down to her core and other places no scientist or doctor can ever explain. Love.

I feel as tho Jazmine wrote this album for me....jeez....I can totally relate to all the songs..... Especially "Lions, Tigers & Bears"... Calming music; especially the horns blending in and out and with the right touch of the strings, awesome. I can listen to this song most of the day...I can add this to other mesmerizing tunes, like Nothing Left to Say and U Send Me Swingin, both by Mint Condition; and Golden by Jill Scott. This is the type of talent I am talking about. Hopefully this is the continuation of good singers. I have two more on my list out of everyone that is out right now. That is a shame with all the artist out. Don't get me wrong there are some good cds out...but GOOD, RAW, TRUE BLUE TALENT..... Hard to come by and she is for sure one of them. Love the versatility. Her cd does NOT sound like a RUN-ON Song. Here sound is flexible yet high quality ALL the time. Then after hearing her youtube live clip from Teen Magazine. OMG! She got me. Singing live and in the flesh and tore it up! I am feeling Jaz. I hope she keep bringing it and those around her continue to embrace and assist her.

Many artists may have a great album, but the ability to perform live, shows true talent!

OK! So I have listened to the "Fearless" album like a thousand times all the way through. It is still in my cd player in both the car and house and a constant banger on my ipod. Oh yeah, the right tones- I got em. "Lions, Tigers and Bears" is a classic and there are no words to verbalize how I feel about "Live a Lie" and "My Foolish Heart". In my opinion this album was sooooo different from the Jazmine Sullivan I was use to. It is also my belief that it does not show the full extent of her vocal abilities. However, I strongly feel that the album upholds its title in the respect that it does not limit Jazmine to what she is capable of doing. It proves that she can clearly freak any style and shows the she is versatile... If you get hype like I do when listening to the cd, it is nothing compared to actually seeing her perform. Id imagine heaven sounding like similar...... YURP! She is wild! I love it!... I am so hype and happy for her...... Fearless is that heat and I am already waiting for round two.

There must be something in the water in Philly. First Gamble & Huff, later on the Roots Crew, Ms. Jill Scott, Musiq Soulchild, and now Ms. Jazmine Sullivan. I rarely hear much that makes me wanna go out and buy a CD nowadays, but I have to say after reviwing this album, I gotta go get it!
